Support the Voices of Older Adults and Caregivers
I am dedicated to building inclusive, resilient communities—both in-person and virtually—where people of all cultures, ages, and abilities can connect and thrive together.
I build inclusive communities with every step—on the dance floor and in the world.
My work centers on multicultural aging, caregiving, and global inclusion, guided by the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to empower older adults and caregivers through innovative, accessible solutions that honor diversity and promote equity, dignity, and belonging.
By bridging divides and fostering understanding across boundaries, I strive to reduce disparities, promote digital and social inclusion, and create environments where everyone can participate and flourish.
My mission is to cultivate inclusive, resilient communities where people of all cultures, generations, and abilities connect, support one another, and thrive—both in-person and virtually. Guided by the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), I am dedicated to empowering older adults and caregivers from every background to live with dignity, purpose, and a profound sense of belonging. Through research, education, advocacy, and intentional community-building, I strive to:
Build Bridges Across Differences: Create welcoming spaces—online and face-to-face—where cultural diversity is celebrated and every individual’s traditions, languages, and values are honored in caregiving and aging services.
Empower Through Shared Learning: Develop accessible resources and training that make it easy for caregivers and older adults to participate in community life and adopt helpful technologies, ensuring everyone feels confident and included.
Foster Collective Support: Encourage families, neighbors, organizations, and local leaders to champion both innovative and traditional forms of connection, recognizing that strong communities grow from shared encouragement and collaboration.
Ensure Equitable Access: Advocate for policies, infrastructure, and support systems that make it possible for all community members—especially those from underserved or multicultural backgrounds—to access health, housing, and social supports, whether in-person or online.
Lead with Empathy and Justice: Listen actively and lead with empathy, making sure that community programs and initiatives reflect the real experiences and voices of multicultural and aging populations.
By centering community building and harnessing the power of both technology and personal connection, I aim to reduce disparities, combat social isolation, and nurture environments where every older adult and caregiver can connect, participate, and flourish together.
As a Navigation Guide, I help individuals and families chart their course through the complex landscapes of aging, caregiving, and grief. I offer direction, resources, and companionship, drawing on lived experience and deep listening to illuminate possible paths forward. As a Traveler, I journey alongside you—recognizing that I, too, am always learning, adapting, and growing through these life transitions. Together, we navigate uncertainty, celebrate milestones, and discover new sources of meaning and connection.
“A good guide doesn’t just point out the path—they walk beside you, helping you find your own way through unfamiliar terrain.”
“Every journey through aging, caregiving, or grief is unique. My role is to help you read your own map, not hand you mine.”
I believe that no one should have to walk these challenging roads alone. My passion for navigation comes from witnessing how overwhelming these transitions can be, and from my own experiences as both guide and traveler. I am committed to fostering resilience, agency, and belonging, inspired by the power of shared stories and the maps we create together. By supporting others as they navigate aging, caregiving, and grief, I hope to build a more compassionate, connected world.
“We all become travelers in life’s most challenging moments. I do this work because I believe no one should have to navigate these roads alone.”
“Companionship, cultural understanding, and practical guidance can turn even the most daunting transitions into journeys of growth and meaning.”
If you are seeking guidance, support, or simply a companion for your journey, I invite you to travel with me. Whether you are facing new challenges, searching for resources, or longing for community, our paths can intersect. As fellow travelers, we share wisdom, encouragement, and hope—navigating life’s transitions side by side. Let’s explore the road ahead together, drawing strength from our shared journey and the maps we create along the way.
“Let’s walk this path together—sharing stories, wisdom, and support as fellow travelers navigating change.”
“You don’t have to have all the answers to begin. Sometimes, the first step is simply finding someone who will walk beside you.”
